Stamped burlap art

Happy Thursday everyone! This week is just flying by. With the kids on spring break we've been busy trying to do activities plus still do all our week night regulars like soccer practice, dance, taekwondo classes etc.

I've been trying to finish up my main floor half bath makeover this week, but I'm just not quite ready yet. Yesterday I was able to squeeze in one little art project for the bathroom though.

I've been seeing tons of cool burlap projects floating around Pinterest and wanted to try something simple.

I just used a leftover piece of burlap and a picture frame I already had. I used a foam stamp from my scrapbooking supplies and just stamped directly onto the burlap. To finish off the frame I used some leftover fabric to make a flower and hot glued it to the frame. Simple, quick and easy {my favorite}!

I'm hoping to finish up the bath today so I can show you all tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
Have a great day! Remember my link party is still going on if you haven't linked up yet!

  5. Hi, I found you through It's Overflowing. This is just the project I need-- thanks! I've seen some on pinterest lately where they use freezer paper and feed the burlap through the printer. I tried that with BAD results. Thanks for sharing your idea, I hope to try it out once I get a stamp. from Holly @www.abakershouse.com

  7. Stamping right on the burlap - great idea! Is there anything that burlap doesn't go well with? :)
