Mudroom refresh

I wanted to pop in today and share some changes that I recently made to our mudroom.

The walls were looking a little beat up from the constant traffic this small room gets, and I was over the yellow paint. For around $80.00 I was able to give the room a little refresh.

Step one was paint... I used leftover paint from my daughters bedroom. The color is Graceful Gray by Behr and I love it (I've used it in several rooms in our home).

Step two was the fun part...decorate! I took everything that was previously there out and started fresh. I added the FAMILY sign over our coat rack from Michael's. On the opposite wall I hung a mail/paper organizer and key holder both from Hobby Lobby. I also replaced all the name tags on the baskets with chalkboard tags from Michael's.

This was the first project I've done in awhile and it felt great! Something about the smell of fresh paint just makes me happy.

If you would like to see before pics and the building our mudroom you can find it all here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
