Guest blogger

Hi! I’m Joanna, a guest blogger for Arcadian Lighting—a must-shop source for lighting fixtures of all kinds, from wall sconces to ceiling light. Luckily, my days are filled with beautiful things. I spend my time searching on the web for the most inspiring interior design ideas and images. I then share them with blog readers such as you on blogs like Home Happy Home. Thanks Amy for letting me visit with your readers today to share a post about large wooden furnishings. I’ve gathered spaces from many different styles so hopefully you find a least one or two images that speak to you. Enjoy!
Wooden Decor
A glorious wood headboard takes center stage in this contemporary bedroom. The upholstered inset softens the wood surrounding it.

A vaulted beamed ceiling made of reclaimed wood gives a rustic and expansive feel to this attic space.

Besides being functional, this brilliant yellow wood bookcase adds a pop of color to the space. Graphic pillows pull the color into the room and two retro light fixtures illuminate a little console.
Wooden Decor
A unique platform bed, made of reclaimed wood, adds interest in this modern industrial space. The cowhide rug mimics the tones of the wood beautifully.
Wooden Decor
Two large wood armoires flank a fireplace in this Scandinavian style dining room. The wood framed mirror is quite pretty too.
Wooden Decor
A reclaimed door becomes a wonderful coffee table in this eclectic living room. The sawhorse legs of the table base look weathered as well.
Wooden Decor
A soaring ceiling and expansive wood floors are the perfect setting for a picnic-style table and benches. Can’t you just imagine getting together with family and friends in this space?
Wooden Decor
This modern space gets a rustic touch with a massive weathered wood sofa and table sectional. The driftwood lamps flank the sofa nicely.  Images 1 | 2 | 34 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

Big thanks to Joanna from Arcadian Lighting for being my first EVER guest blogger. I love all the uses of wood in her photos.
 Have a wonderful Tuesday!
