Home wood sign with succulents

 

I started this project by putting together the wood sign, painting it white and then distressing with sandpaper. 

The HOME letters are cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby. I used an utility knife to cut the top off of the O and hot glued faux succulents from Michael's inside. I painted the letters with black craft paint.

 I figured out where I wanted the wording and then painted it on. Then I attached the HOME letters.

Lastly I cut, stained and attached the frame.

It looks great in my entry/craft room area for now, but I love rearranging so we'll see where it ends up.
